Nice non-fast day sets me up for the weekly two day fast at 226.6. I was interested to read that the 5-2 thing is supposed to have two 'non-consecutive' fasting days. I've been doing it wrong apparently, but it is working for me.

Morning BP. LOL on 'doing it wrong' but it's working for you. You also read Mike's book, the IF life? I don't think there is a 'wrong' way to do it, I think we just adapt it to suit ourselves. I am learning to fast/low cal especially after I've eaten more than I should. It's great to finally 'get it' that it can be that simple. Eat to plan most of the time, when crap happens (and it will) simply adjust calories for a day or two to compensate then get back on the regular deficit. I am so thankful for the help and support from the likes of yourself and Keld and that I am finally 'getting it' and lost almost a one pound. I should have just claimed the pound, but honestly prevailed :). Good to see a journal this morning, I've missed you :)

That's great, that's what it's all about isn't it? Finding what works for you and doing it. Peaks and valleys aside you are doing super. You are a shadow of your former self in the FB pics from the week-end. What does your wife think? Is she doing this with you?

Wow, so glad that wifey is getting on board and isn't she great that she cooks around your diet? I am lucky too, my hubby does all the shopping/cooking and he has supported me in my low carb adventure too. DW (darling wife) likely sees your success and wants a taste for herself.
