>40 year old happily married to the greatest wife on earth. Also learning the ropes to managing a toddler :).

Originally went up to 211 about 5 years ago and needed a change in my life. Went on a diet (simple CICO no fancy names) and got down to around 173 and then maintained 180 for about 2 years. After stress from job and newborn on the way (no I don't blame COVID)I gained until I reached 196 and knew it wouldn't take much longer to undo all the hard work I put in to get healthy the first time.

I'm happy to be part of this community and love supporting and being supported. My goal is to get to 170, maintain for one month to see if I can, then begin a workout routine to build muscle. I have no idea how to do that or even what weight I should be shooting for but hopefully I find out along the way and of course always looking for comments and suggestions :).
