Good morning, Sunday May 26, 2024, Memorial Weekend
3 I thank my God upon all my remembrance of you,
4 always in every supplication of mine on behalf of you all making my supplication with joy,
5 for your fellowship in furtherance of the gospel from the first day until now;
6 being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ:
7 even as it is right for me to be thus minded on behalf of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as, both in my bonds and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers with me of grace.

I am beyond grateful for all the warriors for health and happiness who struggle at my side in the Fat Secret battalion on this Memorial Weekend... We are from different cities, nations, politics, religions and backgrounds. But each of you encourage me in our common quest. Some directly and some by simply adding to our numbers. All are important. May the God of Abraham bless you and keep you. May all of you come to know the joy of knowing Him that I have found.

5 … Now I am going to Him who sent Me; and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ 6 (Instead,) because I have said these things to you, grief has filled your heart.
7 (So) I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8 And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment: 9 regarding sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 and regarding righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you no longer are going to see Me; 11 and regarding judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.
12 “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them at the present time. 13 But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take from Mine and will disclose it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine; this is why I said that He takes from Mine and will disclose it to you.
John 16:5-15
On this Sunday the Son of Man sits on His throne in Heaven at the right hand of His Father. But He did not leave without sending us His Helper. His mission is a trinity of truth to help us. He shows us what is sin, comforts us with the Good News of our Fathers Grace and Mercy, and warns us of the end for those who reject the free gift of salvation.

Happy Mother's Sunday...
23 This is what the Lord says:
“Wise men must not brag about their wisdom.
Strong men must not brag about their strength.
Rich men must not brag about their money.
24 But if someone wants to brag, let him brag about this:
Let him brag that he understands and knows me.
Let him brag that I am the Lord.
Let him brag that I am kind and fair.
Let him brag that I do things that are right on earth.
This kind of bragging pleases me,” says the Lord.
