In years past, Hubby & I celebrated St. Patrick's Day in Savannah with some dear friends. We'd make a weekend of it. For years, we got up early, went to Mass, had Bloody Mary's & watched the Parade. Then we'd go to a favorite Irish Pub & dance into the wee hours to fabulous Irish Tunes. The last couple of years we went, we even walked in the Parade with our friends (our friend was on the parade committee). We lost Judy a few years ago 💔
Then we started our tradition of going to our favorite local Pub for music, drinks & Corned beef. 2019 was the last year we did that.
Today we went to the Gym. If truth be told, I would have advocated for going to Shenanigans, but the weather was cool & rainy 😕 I did listen to one of my favorite Irish singers from our Savannah days while I worked out. I put the Corned Beef, cabbage, potatoes & carrots in the crock pot this morning so it was ready for dinner 😊 And there are left overs....
