Ate most of my calories yesterday after 6 PM & weighed in slightly early today. Plus, I ate over 2200 calories 😏 I could tell yesterday I was retaining some fluids cause my rings were snug for the first time in awhile. I had wine with dinner 3 nights in a row. I think tonight it will be sparkling water.

Hubby was feeling under the weather yesterday (summer cold), so I went to the Gym alone. I missed having him there, but I got in a good workout. Trying to push myself a little.

I had expiring coupons @ Bath & Body Works, so I went to the Mall to use them. Hate to miss out on my "Free item" 😊 Of course, it means I spend money on other things. I did get out pretty cheap & bought 2 bath gels, a bar of shea butter soap & got some lotion for $7.

I hit Kroger next....again taking advantage of coupons. They were running a special if you bought 5 or more of "designated items" you got an additional $1 off each item. It included stuff all over the store, so I ended up taking advantage on a bunch of stuff. Last time I ran in to buy some ice cream, they had some animal print tennies on sale that I liked. I checked to see if they were still running the sale....guess who came home with new tennies 😁

Today, I took advantage of slightly cooler temps to do some yard work. I had to water some plants....some potted Lantana were looking especially parched....as in if you don't water me, I'm going to die! I cut some browning leaves off the bottoms of the Canna lillies, pulled wandering grass out of flowerbeds & pulled brown leaves out of the daylillies. The white Adirondack chairs were looking scruffy, so they got a cleaning. By the time I finished, it had warmed up considerably.

I need to mix up a fresh batch of deer repellant. The hostas in the gardens are trying to make a comeback & I've seen evidence of some nibbling on some other stuff. There were 2 fawns, a mama & a young buck down in the meadow earlier. Need to keep them there eating & not in the gardens. So...guess I better get at it before I make dinner.
