Medium walk last night due to rain. Got a little soaked with a wet dog walking next to me, but that’s life. Came home and skied while I was watching television. I’m trying to tell if it’s double-counting my strokes as steps or if that’s what it’s counting. All these new things to learn. Cold and rainy again today. El Niño is much more tolerable in a house with a good roof than when I first moved in. That was non-stop drama for a few years. You learn to manage though.

Just watching the local news and weather. They were showing the rain in California, we're pretty much done for today. But they said that the San Diego area is getting hammered. Don't v walk tonight!

It’s okay, Fritzy, it’s mostly over. We got 3.5 inches in two hours, the 5 freeway flooded, downtown flooded, Midway flooded. I’m sure the beaches flooded too. The 56 got closed, it’s just been a really long wet day. I’m sure there’s water in my basement, but there’s nothing down there touching the ground. There was standing water in my yard and I live at the top of the hill. We went for a quick walk, but we’re done for the night. Should be some good footage on the news. Stay safe, it’s a nasty one.
