Tuesday, I returned a swimsuit but decided to try several on at the store. Success! I found one I liked well enough to bring it home. Comfy & I think it looked good on. It's a one piece with turquoise, green & white stipes. I liked another one that had pretty colors, but the lining of the top wasn't lying down well, so I didn't buy it.
I also browsed thru the garden department & found 2 "drop in" planters to bring home. One was a beautiful fuchsia geranium, coleus & creeping Ginny mix for only 16.99. I added it to the large planter in front of the chimney in the front flower bed. The 2nd one was a mix of pink & purple calabrichoa.
Doctor appt today. It was mostly a review of my labs...all good. He did remind me about the Shingles vaccine I never got around to scheduling 6 months ago. I had the older version, but this one is more effective. I decided to bite the dust & get it today. I know it can cause side effects for some people...my sister felt really bad after hers. I took Ibuprofin when I got home to hopefully prevent my arm from getting too sore. So far, so good. I even puttered around in the gardens after I got home. I "tied" up a bunch of daffodil leaves in a loop & cleaned out leaves & debris in the front center garden. It's small, so I didn't have to exert myself too much.
Off to bed. Hope I feel OK tomorrow & we can get our Friday workout in.
