I'm too critical of myself for a front shot so this will have to do. A dark side shot. Only lost 3-4 pounds in the last month but I was training for an obstacle course so I was averaging 3.5k calories with an average of 450 carbs, 140 protein, and 120 fat grams. I have dropped to about 3k calories a day now and I'll see how the next month goes. I'll have to pay more attention to the protein as well since with reduced calories it will be harder to get a good amount without trying.

5'9" 181.8 pounds today. I was about 185 in late July. Each pound is really noticeable. Loving the process. I post pics to keep me on track and motivated to push harder so if they offend you scroll on.

Excuse the clutter on the walls. The guys I work with are...interesting.

I guess a lot of hard work has gone in there - I’m 5’11 and around 85 kg ( 187 lbs ) and would love a flat chest and nice toned arms like that .. been doing gym/ weights since jan 2018 .. and feel like I’m getting nowhere.. 🤔

It takes years, Gary. Wish it could be shorter but most advanced lifters would say up to 3 years of lifting is beginner status. I started in 2000 when I was about 19. I was about 25 when I reached this muscularity. You could get there faster but I didn't know what I was doing for a while. I did train chest almost every day for years though, lol!

I think what helps me not be so critical is the fact that I still don’t look at myself in the mirror 😅

Thanks chrisw77 , I’d say I’m 1500-2000 cals a day .. gym work - cross trainer around 25-30 mins a day / weights - doing 3 sets of 12 and keeping weights steady split - chest , back & arms x2 with 1 day off .. Nokia scales says my body fat is 18.9% not sure how accurate tho .. look to the net for advice - but god it’s like a mine field ..

Just go by the mirror. I'm probably no lower than 15-16% here. Anyways, down another 1.4 pounds. 180.4. Ate 3099 calories yesterday. About to go for another run. Almost to the 170's. 💪

Thanks man, my workout buddy is pissed. We were neck and neck for a while but he woke at 187 today which is still great but I sent him a text saying I was 180.4 and the amount of expletives was intense lol. I was 178 after my jog. I will resist putting that down as my new weight since I did that last time I jogged and sweated out 5 pounds in the heat, now it looks like I've been 180 for a long time.

7k sodium and 3220 calories. Actually went up .1 pounds. 180.5. 178 was just after sweating from jogging so don't expect to see it again for a week or more.

Not this week, just remembered it's my birthday weekend. Co-worker brought cupcakes, wife is making me one of my fave desserts, mother is having a party for me and to top it off my dad's b-day is a day before mine and he invited us over for food. Better luck next week lol!
