Katsolo Günlüğü, 18 Eyl 21

Only 2.4 miles last night, slightly short of normal. Little girl kept up most of the way, then I could tell she was tired, so we turned around a little short of normal. The supplement arrived yesterday and all three dogs went bonkers for it, so that's a good thing to start off with. Some Halloween decorations are already popping up, you know I'm excited. Still looking for that 12' skeleton to land in my yard for free. Ha, like that's going to happen, but it would be cool. I'd also take the ghost carriage with the skeleton horse, but I'd lose a bedroom to storing it in the off season. Yeah, I love Halloween.

The weather has turned crisp, it's almost chilly. I slept so hard last night, it was glorious. We may still have a heat wave in October, but this is pretty wonderful. I'm wearing my winter jeans this morning (and they still fit) I think these are the 8s, that's an NSV. Thinking about putting on socks. That would require giving up the flip flops and I'm not ready to go crazy just yet. It's also a great excuse to use the fire pit. Woot!

The word of the day is pumpkin. As in pumpkin everything. I'm feeling it, maybe some soup tonight.

Chipping away at my numbers below. Looks like the blob feasted on the pasta at the expense of muscle and water weight. Got some more yard stuff to do today (more birds of paradise) that will burn calories for sure. Thinking about doing it all at once and hiring someone to haul it to the dump. You can't compost these leaves in the city. They don't take a lot of water, but they're hard to get rid of, but they provide me with great shade and keep the neighbor noise down and no one can see me swimming in the pool.

A good day so far. Groceries ordered, going to make another cup of coffee and breakfast and get going. Enjoy the day. Onwards we go.

It is definitely cooler in the bay too, but we don't have clouds yet.

Beautiful sunset! My kitchen window over the sink faced West and when I saw a glorious sunset, we'd all rush outside to watch it. Good memories. 😊
