So good. The wasabi plus that spicy sauce was delicious.

The first time I had wasabi, I thought it would be similar to guacamole because I am a dumb ass and didn't know what it was. I seriously was going to tell you to call an ambulance. hahahaha. It was a rough 15 or so seconds. Never made that mistake again and I love it now.

The white rice is often considered “the cheat” because it has a lot of carbs. I have read an interesting article about Sushi rice because vinegar is added to the cooking process that the body processes sushi rice better than regular white rice. I have no idea if it’s true. I think eaten in moderation it’s all good.

Cindy, people follow different diets and many are on low carb (me too!) for weight loss purposes and thus yummy sushi can be considered as cheat meal. I like sashimi as it has 0 carbs 😎

Cindyoh77 I can see why people might be using sushi as cheat meal if you get the specialty rolls there are loaded up with all sorts of sauces that skyrocket the calories.

Exactly Diablo! People in the Blue Zones eat high carb, low protein. I cook sushi rice all the time, because I like the shorter grain, and I've always added a little vinegar to the cooking water, because that's the way my mother did it. 😉
